Scrubbing In
Most of the full-length videos are 5 minutes in length and provide enough information for the student to move out of the lab and into a clinical setting where they can learn to perform these services under direct supervision.
In addition to their pre-clinical role, the videos also fill in some of the educational gaps that naturally arise in the clinical setting. Answering the “What was that again?” question stimulates many students who are just leaving a clinical experience to turn to the video for further explanation of what they have just witnessed.
